Rifles are used in c. 300 homicides/year in US, but can deter tyranny. Handguns are used in c. 6,000 homicides/year, but can't deter tyranny. Interesting that mainstream media supports banning the first, but not the second. HT @JonHaidt

You do understand the difference between mass rampages and personal homicides, right? Why are you conflating the two?
The rifle homicide count includes all mass shootings by rifle.

Understood, but rifle deaths generally only occur during mass slaughters. Just because mass slaughters occur on a lower frequency than general murder doesn't make it less significant.
