Depends on the details. What are the protections? What does full compliance entail?
Getting a 'green light' on free speech policies from the constitutional lawyers at @TheFIREorg would be a good start.

In theory it sounds good, provided we have clear demarcation of public/private spaces on a campus. I'm a bit skeptical about the ability of this administration to issue a nuanced and non-partisan executive order of this nature, though.

Expecting something of this nuance to be captured in an executive order from POTUS is wishful thinking at best. Good exercise in theory but an office that has undermined the free speech of the media at every turn doesn’t have my vote of confidence here - 1 more reply
