I disagree with the bill of course but there's value in virtue signaling. It's important to take public positions or symbolic gestures for what you think is morally right. The act can persuade others and motivate them to action. Why's that wrong?

A ban on advertising anything, including sex work, violates the First Amendment. And it's none of the government's business to virtue signal. Its job is to govern.
