That's great. Was there a Eureka moment? any film in particular. "Nostalghia" is the one I come back to again and again with questions about human behaviour & need.
That and Stalker. I saw Stalker first, and it was revelatory.

Stalker was a slow burner for me. Took me five viewings for it to open it's doors to me. Now it's like a vast other kingdom to explore
