I agree. A good reason to give up excessive firearms is when children and other inocent are being massacred with those means.
Only 300 people a year are murdered by rifles. Vs. over 100,000 killed a year killed by medical errors. Why prioritize the first?

Because medical errors are always being improved on. There is constant change and progress. The same cannot be said for gun violence where the CDC can't even research the subject effectively.

Taking guns from law abiding citizens and responsible gun owners will not prevent gun violence, but will allow for tyranical forces to flourish. Pretending that individuals intent on causing harm will willing disarm is intellectually dishonest and just plain ridiculous.
