If conservative ideas were so bad and unpopular, why are leftists doing everything they can to keep them off campus? 
Because pressuring weak-willed administrators who don't understand #1A to censor speech is much easier than making coherent, evidence-based arguments against conservative ideas?

No. It's because they are like religious belief - that some ideas are ust evil. Christian conservatives are like this too but we give them a pass. Of course, we all believe some ideas are too evil to debate and they just expand that list.
