What exactly does the Republican Party stand for, apart from a weird hybrid of nationalist populism and economic libertarianism? Either the populists will take over, or the libertarians will. In neither case can the GOP carry on business as usual.

The GOP is a sad excuse for a political group. The party of morality that has no actual standards. Party of balanced budget that spends and whole cutting taxes. Party of insane xenophobia. Chicken Hawks and conspiracy theories. An embarrassment on all fronts.
