      The only thing I have ever been saying is that diversity of participants increases diversity of views and that’s a good thing, and I’m still feeling good about that one

      Why not just select for viewpoint diversity directly if that's the goal? Why use demographic proxies?

      I'm afraid we have non-overlapping mental models of how the world actually works, and what to do about it. To make the world better, my effort goes into Effective Altruism and free speech, not identity politics and cultural reparations.
