I don't really get the point. In Brazil the federal capital is a city that was created and planned to be the capital. It is closer to the geographical center of the country than the previous one (Rio de Janeiro) was. +

However it is definitely isolated from big urban cities - it was created in a mostly rural area - and this usually considered very bad for Brazil's democracy. A common accusation is that the capital was changed in order to make the government safe from public pressure
