Universities are clearly not reflecting the actual range of political philosophies found in our society. The filter they use isn't just merit. But what is even more interesting to me is the range of possible political philosophies that aren't even found in our society.

Everyone will keep fumbling in the dark on this stuff until they understand stages of adult maturity, which correlate with rise of critical theory & way it arose as natural evolution of academy in 60s. We’re witnessing a vertical evolutionary process, not a typological battle.

Arguably large gains could be made from novel and unusual political architectures. It feels that humans are too much herd animals to reap the gains to be found there, even though I am sure there exist win-wins.
