Only 35% of female college students think that protecting free speech is more important than supporting 'diversity and inclusion'. Among men, numbers are reversed. A huge sex difference that nobody seems to be talking about.https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2018/03/12/students-value-diversity-inclusion-more-free-expression-study-says?utm_source=Inside+Higher+Ed&utm_campaign=a2c7ccb5a4-DNU20180111&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_1fcbc04421-a2c7ccb5a4-199409053&mc_cid=a2c7ccb5a4&mc_eid=7b974839c6 …

I agree. I actually think professionals would skew closer to 40% opposed to free speech. Men probably lose tolerance slightly, women gain tolerance, with a bias towards more tolerance as experienced ppl have more knowledge of consequences of restricting speech.

A bit of a non-sequitur, but I'd say for all the censoriousness on campus, they are rightly less censorious than most other forums, certainly the private sector. Is there a relationship with insecure employment and willingness to accept restrictions on speech?
