I understood his point and failed to indicate it, admittedly. And then I asserted my own. He's mocking a group's intellectual honesty without knowing anyone from that group (e.g., performing a literature review).
Sad that you stereotype me from afar without any knowledge of my sexuality or that of my inner circle. Sad that you can't imagine a centrist libertarian who ever lost someone close to AIDS, or who spends two hours in every human sexuality course on the history of gay culture.

I don't feel attacked or injured, just baffled by people who make assumptions about other people's sexuality and social networks without knowing anything about them.
