C'mon, that's dishonest. You juxtaposed those numbers as a way to show that the number of deaths is insignificant as compared to other causes. That's an argument, and not a good one, IMO.

But the number of deaths is insignificant compared to other causes. The only causes of death that are less significant in scope than rifle homicides are things like lightning strikes (about 30/year). What's your real agenda here?
