The problem isn't just that college students don't understand free speech; it's that college administrators don't, and they let the students get away with the heckler's veto by condoning such protests instead of expelling the student 'activists'.

In my experience, administrators (including university counsels) don't even understand free speech well enough to oppose it in any meaningful sense. But they're certainly hostile to conservative views of any sort.
