Most teachers are not trying to undermine fathers. They are trying to make up for the lack there of. I was pushed for years to provide a father role. I taught well over 30k kids in my career. Most don’t have active fathers.
Did you feel supported by female colleagues and admins in being a male role model or father figure to the male students? Genuinely curious.
