Suppose there were a potential future more productive, higher utility for all & Nash Equilibrium. But the path to that future treated many unfairly, and no path to this better state treated everyone fairly by meritocratic metrics. What if?
That's been the promise of socialism ever since 1848. Weird how it never seems to work out very well.

It's significant that Chinese Commies have bettered life for so many without regard to rights - yet I wouldn't want to live there. Not sure it's a premise of socialism, but it is well outside a libertarian path. I'd back off from "never".
