All justice is 'social' rather than individual, since its about how a civil society functions. What would 'non-social justice' be?

“Social Justice” = Concept of fair/just relations between individual and society. John Locke’s concept of “justice”, for example, is much more limited/quite different.

That's to distinguish it from "economic" justice.

What on earth is 'economic justice'?

no, what they mean is to treat justice as applying to identity groups. it's an important and dangerous difference.

"Social justice" is a tautology or, in a kantian terminology, an analytical judgement
-
So how do you distinguish it from criminal justice or family justice?

Justice is a real thing. "Social justice," as Hayek said, is a mirage. Or, as I put it: "Social justice is individual injustice."
-
Was that before or after Hayek praised Pinochet’s Chile for its “individual” (read: economic) freedom? Not the best dude to quote on that topic IMO. Generally, I think there need to be limits to both “social” and “individual” justice to make a society function and worthwhile.
