@primalpoly You seem like a good person to ask: What do you think of this hypothesis? Violent movies & games have no effects on most males (& even give them an outlet) but spur 0.1% of them to violence. Consistent w/ recent trend of fewer murders but more mass murders. Testable?
That's consistent with evidence on porn from Neil Malamuth at UCLA: porn has no bad effects on the vast majority of men, but it turns the 1% of men who are psychopaths a bit meaner towards women.
