What’s your evidence that Wax’s colleagues tried to get her punished? No Penn Law faculty member has called for her to be silenced. In fact they have tried to engage with her views.
You don't think social and professional ostracism is a punishment? Her colleagues got many others to dog-pile on to Wax, by leveraging social media and mainstream media, which immediately turned ad hominem. Their lip service to free speech came across as totally disingenuous.

Sorry, this is just flat wrong. Several of her colleagues responded to the substance of her arguments, both in person and in writing. She ignores those-preferring to proclaim herself the victim while suggesting that various of her critics be sanctioned or silenced.
