The PoMo ethos is a set of ideological disgust responses reinforced by mutual social pressure & pluralistic ignorance, and more easily turns into a self-sustaining system of political confirmation bias. Very unlike learning calculus or actual history.

Human beings are intensely tribalistic animals that are very quick to adopt the ethos of their community and to integrate that ethos into personality.
@primalpoly is right: An ethos is very much distinct from learning or science—tribalism is then why the PoMo ethos is dangerous. -
