That seems like a reach given what is actually in the memo - carter page is possibly guilty of serious crimes and the investigation into his dealings with foreign entities were justified - else the warrant wouldn’t have been issued

Watergate was a purely domestic scandal, FISA warrants only apply to Americans who appear to be colluding with hostile foreign powers. And Watergate DID include numerous domestic wiretaps.

Again, there was no "sitting on" or "weaponising" Page, because Page was an investigative dead end who is no part of the current Mueller investigation.

But the *memo* is ALL about Page, and Page is now no part of the Mueller investigation...

Because the memo is definitionally irrelevant to the Mueller investigation.
