Social Justice Activists: Historically and evolutionarily speaking, more powerful groups of humans have been really shitty to less powerful groups of humans. We have things like computers and medicine and industrialized farming now, can we maybe not be so shitty to each other?
Violent crime is nearly the lowest in recorded history. Ditto for deaths from warfare. Ditto for rapes. The spread of democracy and human rights is at an all-time high. What on earth are you talking about? We're less 'shitty to each other' than ever before.

Those are fair points. But I think a lot of people have an ostrich pose in regards to the
killing power available in the world today.
