No. This is obfuscation. The problem with tribalism is loyalty to tribe over truth, logic and reason. Where the opinions of tribal leadership overshadow the best solutions. This article is a waste of the reader's time.

Yes. Rather than addressing the root issue with tribalism, it cherry picks aspects of specific tribes in an effort to narrow the definition. Essentially the author is making their point by moving the goalposts.
