          Don't know about Graham' s take, but what's terrifying to me is the belief that we have sufficient information on the risks associated with these tools to tackle such problems with them. It's not even arrogance, it's stupidity.

          The value to society of "celestial dictators" (mother nature, God, etc.) will be very obvious to the survivors of whatever catastrophe is caused by these "high IQ" types.
