59 million people voted for Donald Trump. A pedophile almost got voted in as a U.S. Senator. I don’t think higher education would be such a bad idea. What is a democracy without an educated population?

Why assume that government is the only organization that can supply education useful to citizens? Won't gov't schools always have incentives to indoctrinate more than they illuminate?

While I'm not sure free education is the best option, but a system where people who are lesser off are able to afford education thanks to higher taxes seems a lot better than the US system. I don't understand why you're against taxes so much, even from a utilitarian perspective.

Of course taxes shouldn't be too high. But I really don't understand how you can support libertarianism as a utilitarian. Maybe I'm missing something, I would really like to know.

It's a fact; Tobacco Companies are obliged to have a Health (or Sports) donations, percentage of the announced Annual profit. Tobacco Companies have some tax reliefs, but it's to highlight their freedom of obligations.
