My guess is you're not a big fan of someone like Foucault, and yet this statement sounds entirely Foucauldian (it's at least reminiscent of his earlier books). Is this a conversation you're having in your circles?

I learned a lot from reading all of Foucault in college, and then discovered evolutionary psych, and have been waiting in vain for someone to rationally integrate them.....
