There are some radical libertarians (anrcho-captlists for example), but the majority are not against all laws. Hayek talked about this, as long as the law is to promote competition, its fine and actually desired, the problem are laws designed to stifle competition.

On the contrary it is based on that exact idea, which is why small government with decentralized local power is advocated for. Small restricts the power they can secure. Decentralized and local makes it easier to hold them accountable.

Isnt it more a question of how the constitution is interpreted? Otherwise democrats, republicans, liberals, conservatives etc etc are all libertarian by that definition as they all work hard to follow constitution as they interpret it - thus need for courts - no?
