      g = "g factor" if multiple intelligences were true cognitive task performance would not correlate- But performance on diverse cognitive tasks & even reaction time all correlate v. positively-there is high loading onto a single factor, the g factor is simply a mathematical reality

      So it's a mathematical reality, is it a biological reality? Is there evidence for biological causes for g, that aren't correlations?

      All personality variables like the big 5, and other things like sexual openness are factor loadings onto a correlation matrix- would you say extraversion doesn't exist?

      Well Eysenck proposed that extraversion is caused by variability in cortical arousal. I don't know if that hypothesis has been tested though. We have a set definition of extraversion, one cannot say the same for g. I'm worried about biological causes, not correlations.
