Yes I've been thinking a bit about societal homeostasis as being the sole function of government under late capitalism.
Though Adam Curtis never mentioned homeostasis this seems implied especially in his #Hypernormalisation documentary.
Need to pacify citizens by imposing the illusion that they're locked in a zero-sum battle over consumerist scraps from a dying civilization? #BlackFriday
