Superheroes? Is that what the Americans of the 40's would call you & I today? Nope.
Every generation thinks it's the protagonist. Nope. At best, it's a supporting character in the backstory to an origin myth for far-future superheroes it can't imagine yet.

Go the whole hog and just say this is a prelude to the heat death of the universe. That tweet sounds good but people can't weigh their immediate experiences against their (imagined) context millennia from now.
