Fair enough. I don't really think that qualifies to say it's not an aircraft. That's like saying drones aren't aircraft. So, is a Space Shuttle an aircraft while it's coming out of orbit? While it's gliding to land?
I was thinking 'manned airplane', but I wasn't specific enough.
