They have a Dom/sub thing going. Sometimes Jaime just wants to set aside the burdens of command and let Cercei make all the decisions.

I think you’re right. As the seasons have gone on, I think there’s a lot of trauma these characters are dealing with. Maybe the relationship is his balm/addiction. (& omg I’m taking this too seriously)
