That makes sense. Do you find it difficult to change your views on those topics? I've noticed people who've studied something deeply begin to incorporate it into their identity. It's a trap I want to avoid but I find it difficult to do.

I would dislike a set of beliefs about the world because those are harder to change. I'd like to build models instead but I find that the longer I carry knowledge, the more it incorporates itself into the perception of myself.
