Why does the Left love creepy polysyllabic euphemisms that obscure reality? 'Underprivileged' means 'poor'. Why not just say 'poor'?
Yep. They think the more syllables, the smarter they sound. But truly smart people communicate clearly.

'Underprivileged' has the same number of syllables as 'polysyllabic'. And 'underprivileged' is a compound word of two + three syllables.
