Let me re-read. But John is extremely sage, in my view, and it's possible he didn't know all the facts about this particular case.

Geoffrey, I think you’re reading John’s words too sensitively. He does not call all opponents of McKellop neo-Nazis. He simply blames her firing on neo-Nazi protests that mirrored tactically the leftist protests at which his article takes aim.

If he’s calling anyone a neo-Nazi, it’s Infowars, certain Reddit posters, and Pepe-the-frog Twitter users, whose verbal/written protests of McKellop are acknowledged in the linked Newsweek article.
