      Self-Selection happens when a study is opt in. What it means is that because people can choose to Opt into the study, the sample is not-

      More specifically, that the mockery is of them making claims about arriving to conclusions when the study notes it is inconclusive

      It's not merely inconclusive b/c of self-selection - it's almost certainly worthless. Yet that is not how such studies are viewed by media.
