Non anglophones don't learn English to speak to us, but to speak to each other. Hence the most popular *2nd* language is the most valuable.
Plus "Native Lang" definition is highly political. Can't testify for other languages, but for Russian the data is completely off
not sure you can include Chinese as 1 language. Mandarin speaker wouldn't understand Cantonese, &vice versa. This changes the chart hugely.
Although 848m Mandarin speakers is quite significant! ...
