Missed point. The parsing of "gender" out of the full set of behaviours and phenotypes, and associated reasoning, is definitely constructed.
People keep saying that, by assertion, without citations. What evidence would lead you to change your mind on this point?

Well, it's a logical argument, not an empirical one. You'd require a definition of gender that is not socially contingent for that.
