Free speech absolutism has nothing to do with the first amendment.
Free speech can be a constitutional principle, a social norm, and/or a personal value. But they tend to be mutually reinforcing.

Not to me it can’t. Your constitution has zero effect on me. I live somewhere where hate speech is a crime and I’m ok with that.
