Polyamorous people are objectively oppressed by laws that assume monogamy, and those laws will change within a couple of decades.

Couldn't you also argue, by the same logic, that laws privileging marriage oppress singles?

Yes. Government shouldn't really intervene in mating markets, sexual relationships, or family life.
