If we intervene in Syria, who should end up running the country?

Assuming the UN was impotent (which it is) how much death and destruction must a tyrant cause before you'd intervene?
They'd have to cause enough mayhem that, if it was happening in the US, Americans would be happy with another country dropping bombs on DC.

If only we could just ask the Syrians (preferably the ones suffering) what they'd like us to do.

You can listen to many of their stories. Most of them support Assad against our Al-Qaeda allies & wish we'd stay out.
