If you believe passionately in X, but can't imagine any evidence that would change your mind about X, then you're an ideologue about X.

I believe passionately that the earth is more or less a sphere, not flat. I believe passionately that Donald Trump is President.
But I'm sure you'd be _willing_ to think about possible counter-evidence if challenged on these beliefs.

Yes. But such challenges are unlikely. I also believe passionately that conservatism is empirically, objectively, superior to liberalism.
