I've heard professors talk about how this is a culture war and they want to provide their troops with ammunition.

Reality must be worse than the survey because no on ever falsely claims opposition to 1A - but fake 1Aers are common.

I would have guessed most would believe reasoning and arguments is enough, 1 out of 3 believe restrictions are needed.
