Clearly we're talking about Leftist liberals rather than 'classical liberals'. The Democrat/Republican ratio in departments that emphasize 'critical theory' is usually at least 20:1. There's no daylight between critical theory and the far Left in American universities.

Yeah but in Europe liberal usually include everything from classic liberal to social liberalism. In the US socialists seem to be fall under the liberal tent. I guess it's an effect of the two party system.
