It’s an awful app and all it does is give comfort to the enemy and allow them to say “see, the market works.. i tHoUgHt yOu liKeD fReEdOm”. Twitter is where political discourse happens today and needs to be free of censorship.

It’s probably because they host their service on a cloud platform like amazon AWS, and so have to reflect Amazon’s terms of service (none of these cloud services permit pornography That’s why a new service can’t catch up with Facebook or Twitter, they are always at disadvantage

Good point, and that would make sense. That said, if they cared about speech, they would switch to a hosting company like EPIK if they really wanted to put their money where their mouth is on values.

The reason that Parler is still on app stores while Gab is banned, is because they have chosen to take the broadcasting rules rather than the first amendment as their rule set. I and most people I know, joined with our eyes open.

Looks like they're just advising users of the law. Both indecent materials and libel are unlawful, and expose the user to prosecution. From these examples, they appear to be as "free speech" as the US ...
