I think it's important to note that no matter what causes you support or don't, this is a contemporaneous problem and dealing with it doesn't suggest a dismissal of other issues. You can walk chew gum at the same time.

I call it "guillotine culture." Obviously not the real bloody guillotine phase of various revolutions and uprisings of the past, but a modern more moderate version of sorts.....for now at least. If they could get away with it, would the true believers call for more? I wonder.
