I’ve been posting a number of pictures lately. I’m curious if you think pictures (in general) are a welcome addition to the timeline? Or if you think “twitter is no place for pictures! Take that sh** to Instagram”
I post a lot of art. Some people seem to like it, but it never gets the engagement level of political snark.

I like the pictures! It seems like scourging the consciousness of people with beauty is, on a deeper level, more important than anything right now. But I’ve noticed the decreased engagement as well. Doesn’t have the visceral triggering effect of contention.

Also, reaching a lot of people really doesn’t matter as much as reaching the truly receptive individuals. I agree with Dostoevsky/Solzhenitsyn that beauty will still save the world... despite the apparent lack of foot traffic in its direction.
