Begging? These people will only see that as a sign of weakness. The human parts of them are missing. You are pleading to a den of sociopaths. Nothing good can come of it.
Don't confuse constructive politeness with humiliated begging. The goal is to persuade, not to antagonize.

This reminds me of the story about Christians in Rome being thrown to the lions. They began to pray "Lord, please make this lion a Christian." Hence, the Lions also began to pray: "Lord, thank you for this food we are about to eat."
