The horrifying truth of it is, the people trying to cancel Western Civilization have no earthly idea what to replace it with. They have no rational endgame. There is no long-term plan. They haven't even thought three generations ahead.

None of them have an endgame. They really don't. Not one that's a stable multi-generational equilibrium of any sort.

The endgame is not to have one because endgames are seen as oppressive and authoritarian. All norms are suspect. All knowledge is suspect. All structures of “power” have to be undone to clear the way for the free play of becomings. They embrace chaos as preferable to modernity.

This is an expression of the problem solving mindset. Getting rid of problems produces results for sure. Getting rid of the “problem” of hunger by eating handfuls of grass produces a different result than imagining, planning, preparing and enjoying a delicious meal. Different.
