I've noticed that too! Some people have started capitalizing the word *Black*, but not *white*, apparently as a rhetorical nod of special respect to the former.

I’ve had arguments about this with people and the logic is absurd. Black people are one single group of people similar to an ethnicity but being white is just a cultural construct. I personally believe both should just be lower case but that’s me.
